Edgardo Ariando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nereo Luke might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgardo Ariando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nereo Luke ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgardo Ariando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A collision led to Rosales United getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bernardo Berto hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Rosales United were awarded a corner. Placido Firmin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Rosales United's Placido Firmin to fire away a dangerous shot which Nizam Soner despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Berto got free with Nizam Soner in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardo Berto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Nizam Soner made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Baladi in the 54th minute of play forced !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU's goalkeeper Nizam Soner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Nereo Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot. !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Luke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Ariando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgardo Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Luke in the 75th minute of play. !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU's Nizam Soner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Berto in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rosales United's zone, Nereo Luke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Ariando came out of the goal and Nereo Luke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
