An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Jaunzuria in the 6th minute of play forced The Obscurials's goalkeeper Safet Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Diego Jaunzuria notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of The Obscurials's Safet Hands. Safet Hands was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Almiron in the 10th minute of play forced The Obscurials's goalkeeper Safet Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Obscurials's Safet Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Jaunzuria in the 22nd minute of play. Adriano Ribeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano Ribeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes The Obscurials got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Ribeiro. The Obscurials's Kevin Lyle quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rafael Márquez, made in the 26th minute of the game. Safet Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Almiron in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Sacro Balompié were awarded a corner. Miguel Almiron went to the cornerflag to take it. Miguel Almiron made a great header on Sacro Balompié's corner, it was just that The Obscurials's Safet Hands managed to reach the ball for a save. Safet Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Almiron in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of The Obscurials booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Márquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sacro Balompié's Baltasar Sancho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Sacro Balompié from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Matias Maties ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Safet Hands was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Anders Westerstrand scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Sancho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Miguel Almiron made the kick off in the second half. Safet Hands made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Jaunzuria in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute The Obscurials were awarded a corner. Cliff Rowden went to the cornerflag to take it. 58 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Ribeiro came free, but Baltasar Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cliff Rowden hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Sacro Balompié's Luisito Lander was substituted for Diego Jaunzuria. Sacro Balompié's Isidoro Izel was substituted for Americo Florinio. Sacro Balompié made a substitution. Fausto Uxio replaced Rafael Márquez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Ribeiro in the 67th minute of play forced Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Baltasar Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Obscurials's Michel Platini was substituted for Cliff Rowden. Fabian Spânu hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Safet Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Almiron in the 73rd minute of play. Adriano Ribeiro scored 2-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Sancho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Safet Hands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Ribeiro came free, but Baltasar Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Ribeiro took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltasar Sancho. Baltasar Sancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 87th minute, Adriano Ribeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Sancho was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The Obscurials's Safet Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Almiron in the 92nd minute of play. Many of Sacro Balompié's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sacro Balompié may have spent more time on the ball, but The Obscurials were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
