The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jean Van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieguito Milito, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Mariusz Koperski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Modestio in the 12th minute of play. Los Gatos Rojos's Mariusz Koperski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Birila in the 14th minute of play. Mariusz Koperski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Birila in the 14th minute of the match. Leonides Modestio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Mariusz Koperski made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Papillon AC's zone, Cristian Truylos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean Van Damme came out of the goal and Cristian Truylos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Meintanis in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Papillon AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Panos Meintanis was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Gatos Rojos's players had a chance to rest. Gustavo López made a great header on Los Gatos Rojos's corner, it was just that Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme managed to reach the ball for a save. After 19 played minutes Los Gatos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Colon. In the 21st minute Gustavo Birila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Koperski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dieguito Milito in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean Van Damme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariusz Koperski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zosimo Vadillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Osman Nuri Selil was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Gatos Rojos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Los Gatos Rojos:s Mariusz Koperski showed great skill when he stopped Gustavo Birila:s penalty. In the 34th minute Papillon AC were awarded a corner. Gustavo Birila went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gustavo Birila almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Gatos Rojos's Mariusz Koperski did a great save. With his leg Mariusz Koperski managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Papillon AC's Zosimo Vadillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leonides Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Koperski having to interfere. Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo López in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Truylos in the 45th minute of play forced Papillon AC's goalkeeper Jean Van Damme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Gatos Rojos's Mariusz Koperski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Los Gatos Rojos from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Los Gatos Rojos's Mariusz Koperski got control of the ball when Leonides Modestio tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Birila to make the kick off. Leonides Modestio scored 3-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariusz Koperski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Medero Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Panos Meintanis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jean Van Damme. Panos Meintanis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Jean Van Damme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Truylos in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Cristian Truylos notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme. Jean Van Damme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Los Gatos Rojos's Mariusz Koperski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Nardo in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Papillon AC were awarded a corner. Gustavo Birila went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Freddy Fagondo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mariusz Koperski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Birila in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Los Gatos Rojos getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gustavo López hit a great ball. Sergio Jerano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Mariusz Koperski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Papillon AC had played much better football throughout.
