The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Marcelo Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Pitin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Negri in the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Martín Ferreyra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martín Ferreyra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Hauche in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maní FC's goalkeeper Pascual Pitin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelo Cordero might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascual Pitin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Cordero ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goalkeeper Pascual Pitin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Cordero.

Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT made a substitution. Bernardino Llorenc replaced Aldo Mincho. The wind increased when Gabriel Hauche made the kick off in the second half. Erling Gentenaar kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Pascual Pitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Cordero in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Gil Negri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dražen Ladić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Musko made in the 60th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dieguinho Cruz immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabriel Hauche kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dražen Ladić. That made the score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. Pascual Pitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cordero in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Marcelo Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Pitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Pitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zheng Jing Feng in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Zheng Jing Feng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascual Pitin. Maní FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zheng Jing Feng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After some careless play in the Maní FC defense, Zheng Jing Feng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Pitin. The Maní FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Pitin should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT fans cheered their team off the field, for while Maní FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
