The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Osvaldinho Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the game, Claudinei Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandelocos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Facopo FBPA the free kick. Osvaldinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Sobis in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Bandelocos booed when Facopo FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hori Galli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Zhivko Húntev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Henry Tormes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Osvaldinho Moreno saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 19 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's Zhivko Húntev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilson do Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Facopo FBPA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ilgaz Aydoğan in the 21st minute. The corner led Facopo FBPA's Ilgaz Aydoğan to fire away a dangerous shot which Nilson do Vale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhivko Húntev in the 23rd minute of play. Facopo FBPA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ilgaz Aydoğan in the 25th minute. Zhivko Húntev might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilson do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhivko Húntev ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Zhivko Húntev came free, but Nilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Facopo FBPA's Aloísio Munhoz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edvaldo Sabóia, made in the 28th minute of the game. When Facopo FBPA's Zhivko Húntev in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bandelocos's goalie prevented a goal. Zhivko Húntev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Moreno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Betão Quirino. Bandelocos's Luís Gustavo Urbano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Osvaldinho Moreno in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Sobis to make the kick off. Zhivko Húntev took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson do Vale. Nilson do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Osvaldinho Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Sobis's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Zhivko Húntev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Facopo FBPA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Zhivko Húntev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nilson do Vale made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Zhivko Húntev sent off a good shot on target. Hori Galli kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Luís Gustavo Urbano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldinho Moreno having to make a save. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhivko Húntev in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Bandelocos booed when Facopo FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Requena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Daniel Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhivko Húntev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Zhivko Húntev came free, but Nilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Bandelocos defense, Zhivko Húntev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilson do Vale. The Bandelocos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilson do Vale should have stopped the shot. Aloísio Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Osvaldinho Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Brasil in the 89th minute of the match. Zhivko Húntev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilson do Vale having to make a save.
