After 21 minutes, Geovani Sanches made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cachaça FC's Cássio da Silva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 25 played minutes Cachaça FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Mendonça. Jereba 4EVER made a substitution. Dito Quirino replaced Geovani Sanches. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dito Quirino made a kick off. Dito Quirinos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Cássio da Silva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 62nd minute Natã Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Jereba 4EVER supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jereba 4EVER would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
