Grêmio FBPA's Stayko Vakareliyski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maicon Trevisan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Grêmio FBPA's Luiz Paulo Marquez got a free kick in the 11th minute. Grêmio FBPA's Andréas Linquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio FBPA from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the game, one of Jereba 4EVER:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Grêmio FBPA a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Virgiliu Doroftei, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jereba 4EVER's Maicon Trevisan. 0-1. Andréas Linquist made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Cauan Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. Virgiliu Doroftei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maicon Trevisan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Geovani Sanches struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Andréas Linquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jereba 4EVER. 45 minutes into the match, Geovani Sanches dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andréas Linquist, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jereba 4EVER made a substitution. Dito Quirino replaced Geovani Sanches. The wind increased when Dito Quirino made the kick off in the second half. Maicon Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgiliu Doroftei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manfredo Pombal was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 59 minutes into the game, Sandrinho Sabóia threw the ball into play from the sideline. Grêmio FBPA's Luiz Paulo Marquez quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gergely Takács got free with Maicon Trevisan in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, João Pedro Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Andréas Linquist. Grêmio FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Andréas Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauan Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Luiz Paulo Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Quirino in the 83rd minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jereba 4EVER's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
