Nilson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgiliu Doroftei, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Grêmio FBPA's Jâninho Melo collided with an opponent after 8 minutes. The hit was so violent that he fractured his nose and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Henry Tormes got a free kick in the 8th minute. Grêmio FBPA made a substitution. Gabriel Pirani replaced Jâninho Melo. Henry Tormes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Nilson do Vale didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Grêmio FBPA's Virgiliu Doroftei shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgiliu Doroftei in the 14th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgiliu Doroftei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgiliu Doroftei in the 19th minute of play. Grêmio FBPA were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Bandelocos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stayko Vakareliyski took the corner. In the 23rd minute, Virgiliu Doroftei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio FBPA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 28th minute, Daniel Portillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Guilherme Varela. Andréas Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgiliu Doroftei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Rafael Sobis made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Virgiliu Doroftei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nilson do Vale. That made the score 0-5 in the 51 minute of play. Virgiliu Doroftei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Nilson do Vale made a huge save. Virgiliu Doroftei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Virgiliu Doroftei recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nilson do Vale. Virgiliu Doroftei showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgiliu Doroftei in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson do Vale saved Bandelocos from getting behind. After 68 played minutes Grêmio FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Pirani. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stayko Vakareliyski in the 77th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgiliu Doroftei came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nilson do Vale could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Bandelocos's zone, Natã Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson do Vale came out of the goal and Natã Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andréas Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgiliu Doroftei. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Virgiliu Doroftei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio FBPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgiliu Doroftei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 minutes, Ezequiel Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandelocos and the Grêmio FBPA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ezequiel Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Virgiliu Doroftei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson do Vale. Bandelocos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgiliu Doroftei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. The Bandelocos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grêmio FBPA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
