Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when David Aiach kicked off to start the match. Carlos Alberto Soares succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. Catugi FC's Carlos Alberto Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Alberto Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Hoffmann having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Soares came free, but Geovânio Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olímpico FC's Geovânio Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Soares in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Carlos Alberto Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catugi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Alberto Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Alberto Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlos Alberto Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Catugi FC's Carlos Alberto Soares in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olímpico FC's goalie prevented a goal. Catugi FC's Carlos Alberto Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Olímpico FC's Geovânio Hoffmann got control of the ball when Walmir Pombal tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Aiach in the 42nd minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Paulo Gaizkine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmir Pombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Geovânio Hoffmann made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Alberto Soares made a kick off. Agnaldo Carneiro hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. The audience cheered when Erik Sanches's long shot passed Geovânio Hoffmann's right side. It was 2-0, 51 minutes into the match. Walmir Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olímpico FC's Geovânio Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Soares in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 minutes Olímpico FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erik Sanches who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Catugi FC's corner Erik Sanches fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geovânio Hoffmann quite easily take care of the ball. When Miguel Pimenta fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catugi FC's protests and gave Miguel Pimenta a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Pimenta. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alberto Soares in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovânio Hoffmann saved Olímpico FC from getting behind. In the 70th minute David Aiach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th play minute David Aiach came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paulo Gaizkine. 2-1. Geovânio Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Pombal in the 74th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Soares came free, but Geovânio Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Pombal in the 82nd minute of play forced Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Geovânio Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Catugi FC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Catugi FC's Walmir Pombal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an all-out effort, Olímpico FC's Paulo Gaizkine threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from David Aiach, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96th minute, Carlos Alberto Soares made a precise shot to the right of Geovânio Hoffmann. Olímpico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Catugi FC had won after a very even match.
