Hudson Gaúcho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferenc Puskás's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Adalberto de Moraes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 6th match minute, Austra VFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes, Guarani Futebol Clube's Orhun Taran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guarani Futebol Clube reached it. Austra VFC's Hudson Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferenc Puskás in the 9th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Austra VFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc Puskás came free, but Hudson Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Austra VFC got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Vasilitã. Adalberto de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adalberto de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Sócrates Silva sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Pires in the 25th minute of play forced Guarani Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Adalberto de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wellington Pires in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adalberto de Moraes saved Guarani Futebol Clube from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Austra VFC's zone, Orhun Taran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hudson Gaúcho came out of the goal and Orhun Taran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Guarani Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Pires came free, but Adalberto de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Guarani Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Sócrates Silva sent off a good shot on target. After 42 played minutes Austra VFC got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Vasilitã. In the 45th minute Sócrates Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Wellington Pires made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Wellington Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Pires in the 60th minute of play forced Guarani Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Adalberto de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sócrates Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomé Damião hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ivar Dalman hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Adalberto de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sócrates Silva in the 74th minute of the match. In the 79thth minute of the game Orhun Taran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Austra VFC's Hudson Gaúcho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Austra VFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc Puskás came free, but Hudson Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austra VFC made a substitution. Marcus Pollard replaced Leandro Vianna. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Austra VFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Orhun Taran was slow to take the kick. During this time Guarani Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. When Orhun Taran came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Guarani Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orhun Taran couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferenc Puskás in the 90th minute of play forced Austra VFC's goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Guarani Futebol Clube's Ferenc Puskás nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hudson Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 96th match minute, Austra VFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Vasilitã to maneuver through the defense.
