Leonel Santana made in the 2nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Grêmio RK75's Markus Paul Hattermann. In the 4th minute Eliseu Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harold Tronconi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zé Sabóia came out and tried to block the shot, but Harold Tronconi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Harold Tronconi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio RK75's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harold Tronconi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Sabóia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harold Tronconi in the 12th minute. João Francisco Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Catarinense in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harold Tronconi. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Grêmio RK75's Harold Tronconi in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saiko FC's goalie prevented a goal. Harold Tronconi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grêmio RK75 were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Saiko FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Markus Paul Hattermann took the corner. The corner ended in Joaquín Pilinxhi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia did a great save. After 30 played minutes Saiko FC got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Garcia. In the 33rd minute Josué Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harold Tronconi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Zé Sabóia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harold Tronconi in the 37th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's Eliseu Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Francisco Tinoco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseu Fonseca got free with João Francisco Tinoco in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Sabóia came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio RK75's Harold Tronconi. But to his dismay, Harold Tronconi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 66 minutes into the game, Harold Tronconi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Zé Sabóia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Saiko FC defense, Harold Tronconi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Sabóia. The Saiko FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Sabóia should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper João Francisco Tinoco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Bati. The audience was convinced that Harold Tronconi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Sabóia was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Fernandinho Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Zé Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Harold Tronconi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio RK75's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harold Tronconi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Tronconi in the 91st minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixto Ondino hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
