Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) GREMIO's Symon Kvasyuk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kåre Tolsson made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Çağrı Torehan sent off a good shot on target. Osmar Baiano hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, GREMIO's Mykhaylo Slavik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aílton Fernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Manoel Aguiar hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Basilio Ermano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 played minutes Agro Imortal got a freekick which was hit by Osmar Baiano. Agro Imortal's Aílton Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Marin in the 27th minute of play. Kåre Tolsson was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Çağrı Torehan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Çağrı Torehan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Marin came free, but Aílton Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Symon Kvasyuk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aílton Fernandez was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Aílton Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Symon Kvasyuk's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Symon Kvasyuk put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aílton Fernandez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Marin in the 34th minute of play forced Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Aílton Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind GREMIO's goalkeeper Kåre Tolsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Çağrı Torehan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kåre Tolsson having to make a save. GREMIO's Mykhaylo Slavik challenged an opponent after 40 minutes. The hit was so bad that he suffered a foot injury. Manoel Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The Agro Imortal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GREMIO were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Çağrı Torehan to strike the kick off in the second half. Çağrı Torehan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kåre Tolsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Agro Imortal were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after GREMIO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emílio Teixeira took the corner. Çağrı Torehan struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Kåre Tolsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agro Imortal. After some careless play in the GREMIO defense, Çağrı Torehan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kåre Tolsson. The GREMIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kåre Tolsson should have stopped the shot. Kåre Tolsson came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Agro Imortal's Çağrı Torehan. But to his dismay, Çağrı Torehan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Agro Imortal's Aílton Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Marin in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Basilio Ermano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aílton Fernandez. The goal made the score 3-3. Symon Kvasyuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Fernandez having to interfere. When Jere Mitovski came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Agro Imortal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jere Mitovski couldn't finish the play. Aílton Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basilio Ermano in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute of the match, Basilio Ermano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aílton Fernandez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A throw-in in the 78th minute of the game was made by Ishaq Bayauw with Teo Marin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Aílton Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Basilio Ermano sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st play minute Basilio Ermano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aílton Fernandez. 3-4. Luiz Fábio Dantas might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kåre Tolsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fábio Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head. Aílton Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Symon Kvasyuk sent off a good shot on target. After 87 played minutes GREMIO got a freekick which was hit by Symon Kvasyuk. Basilio Ermano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, GREMIO failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
