Zé Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanek Krunev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gabriel Bati 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Rodriguinho Rossi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Sabóia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Rossi came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Bati could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Stefan Neubrandt made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Eliseu Fonseca notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Internazionale-RS's Stefan Neubrandt. Stefan Neubrandt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yanek Krunev in the 23rd minute of play. Rodriguinho Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Sabóia having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Rodriguinho Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Internazionale-RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Zé Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yanek Krunev's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute Yanek Krunev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Trancoso during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jairo Trancoso hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Rodriguinho Rossi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Sabóia having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Jairo Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yanek Krunev struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Zé Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internazionale-RS. If Rodriguinho Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Rossi in the 46th minute of play. Jairo Trancoso was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 49th minute of the match Jorge-Luis Pereira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Sabóia skillfully saved the ball.

Yanek Krunev in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zé Sabóia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 54th minute, Yanek Krunev made a precise shot to the right of Zé Sabóia. Saiko FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Netto in the 59th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Wesley Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saiko FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodriguinho Rossi was slow to take the kick. During this time Internazionale-RS's players had a chance to rest. Yanek Krunevs short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Zé Sabóia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 69 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yanek Krunev came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Saiko FC from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodriguinho Rossi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yanek Krunev got free with Zé Sabóia in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Décio Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes Saiko FC got a freekick which was hit by Décio Dionísio. 88 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Batiste Carrez. In the 96th match minute, Internazionale-RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yanek Krunev to maneuver through the defense.
