After a rather tough play, Grêmio Bulls's Arne Stenquist got a free kick in the 4th minute. Dida Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Stenquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Henrique Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murilo Cabral in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Rowen Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí Pereira in the 13th minute of play. Dida Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Lehen, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Lehen came free, but Dida Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Murilo Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arí Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the LauerArmy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arí Pereira couldn't finish the play. Dida Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Stenquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the LauerArmy defense, Romulo Lehen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Nascimento. The LauerArmy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Nascimento should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arne Stenquist in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, LauerArmy's Henrique Prata threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arí Pereira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 46th minute Rowen Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rowen Doherty to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rowen Doherty in the 55th minute of play forced LauerArmy's goalkeeper Dida Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LauerArmy's Gilvan Queirós was substituted for Frédson de Almeida. Grêmio Bulls made a substitution. Pedrão Prata replaced Romulo Lehen. In the 71st match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yani Shtonov to maneuver through the defense. William Kock hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Henrique Prata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Murilo Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrique Prata was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Murilo Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. LauerArmy had won after a very even match.
