Alexander Bottone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Granata read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Alvaro Rotili stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigue Léonard's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goalkeeper Cristiano Granata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristiano Granata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Bottone, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Bottone got free with Cristiano Granata in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's Alexander Bottone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Granata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Galeone in the 31st minute of play. Cristiano Granata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Bottone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigue Léonard in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Dino Palmisano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Rotili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alexander Bottone came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the A.S. Udinese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Bottone couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Cristiano Granata got control of the ball when Alexander Bottone tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Palmisano came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Udinese got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Bottone. In the 82nd minute, Rodrigue Léonard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.S. Ian Fenomeni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Alvaro Rotili made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Edoardo Galeone sent off a good shot on target. Fortunato Angelucci kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Ciro Palleschi charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Palleschi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of A.S. Udinese booed when A.S. Ian Fenomeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Palleschi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Granata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Fiorentino, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute of the match A.S. Udinese got a corner. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alberigo Di Franco ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alberigo Di Franco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristiano Granata quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle sounded A.S. Ian Fenomeni left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A.S. Udinese.
