A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Wos in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the A.S. Udinese defense, Rui Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Rotili. The A.S. Udinese fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Rotili should have stopped the shot. Nils Støle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Fiorentino in the 12th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Wos came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute A.C. Patagonia were awarded a corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercole Fiorentino in the 30th minute of play forced A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Nils Støle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Wos came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
