Emiliano Giusto started the match with the kick off. Emiliano Giusto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corrado Contestabile having to make a save. Old BaoBaB Accademy's Fabiano Violento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eigirdas Burnickas in the 7th minute of play. Emiliano Giusto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corrado Contestabile read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Fabiano Violento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eigirdas Burnickas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corrado Contestabile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Furia in the 20th minute of the match. Hyblae FC's Corrado Contestabile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Giusto in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Old BaoBaB Accademy getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Candido Oteiza hit a great ball. Fabiano Violento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eigirdas Burnickas, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Fabiano Violento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Giancola in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Giusto in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corrado Contestabile prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabiano Violento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferruccio Festuccia in the 34th minute. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Old BaoBaB Accademy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andrea Pasciu was slow to take the kick. During this time Hyblae FC's players had a chance to rest. If Emiliano Giusto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute Emiliano Giusto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Contestabile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hyblae FC booed when Old BaoBaB Accademy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Junior Junel didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hyblae FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Amedeo Giancola hit a great ball. Emiliano Giusto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corrado Contestabile having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Giusto in the 42nd minute of play forced Hyblae FC's goalkeeper Corrado Contestabile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corrado Contestabile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Pirès, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anfilogino Furia struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Corrado Contestabile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Old BaoBaB Accademy.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amedeo Giancola was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Old BaoBaB Accademy getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Junior Junel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Giusto in the 58th minute of play forced Hyblae FC's goalkeeper Corrado Contestabile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corrado Contestabile came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emiliano Giusto. But to his dismay, Emiliano Giusto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 63 minutes, Federico Marsilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hyblae FC and the Old BaoBaB Accademy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Hyblae FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Marsilio to maneuver through the defense. Robert Pirès succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 64th playminute. Fabiano Violento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Giancola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Giusto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Contestabile having to interfere. Fabiano Violento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Giancola in the 81st minute of play. Cesare Marcolongo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Emilio Buffone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corrado Contestabile was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 90th minute, Anfilogino Furia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Old BaoBaB Accademy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The Old BaoBaB Accademy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Old BaoBaB Accademy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
