In the 12th minute Concetto Rucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Contestabile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Sanna didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Hyblae FC's Eigirdas Burnickas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Hyblae FC's Corrado Contestabile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto De Nardis in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Concetto Rucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Contestabile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corrado Contestabile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Rucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corrado Contestabile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Rucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Corrado Contestabile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Concetto De Nardis went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Concetto Rucci scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corrado Contestabile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Giancola in the 38th minute of play. Corrado Contestabile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto De Nardis in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Giancola in the 47th minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Alvaro Sanna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 51st minute, Sporting Club Sicilia's Concetto De Nardis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Corrado Contestabile. Corrado Contestabile yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Thanks to some nice moves Guaberto Cristos could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Corrado Contestabile however easily saved by the left post. When Hyblae FC's Amedeo Giancola in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Club Sicilia's goalie prevented a goal. Corrado Contestabile made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Concetto Rucci sent off a good shot on target. Hyblae FC's Corrado Contestabile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Hyblae FC from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Ferruccio Festuccia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Sanna was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 82 minutes into the match, Hyblae FC's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto De Nardis came free, but Corrado Contestabile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Concetto De Nardis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 89 minutes into the match, Hyblae FC's goalkeeper Corrado Contestabile had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guaberto Cristos. A hard shot 90 in the game by Concetto Rucci from a close distance when the talented Corrado Contestabile managed to make a qualified save. Hyblae FC's players were relieved. Sporting Club Sicilia played a much better game than Hyblae FC and deserved their victory. The Hyblae FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
