Ettore Varglien succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 19th playminute. Corrado Contestabile stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ettore Varglien's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ettore Varglien in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corrado Contestabile saved Hyblae FC from getting behind. In the 37th minute Armando Corna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Contestabile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corrado Contestabile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ettore Varglien in the 38th minute. Corrado Contestabile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ettore Varglien went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
