Dexter Morgan VR46 were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Hyblae FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stig-Åke Vacker took the corner. Dexter Morgan VR46's Stig-Åke Vacker was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Corrado Contestabile in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferruccio Festuccia got free with Comunardo Guerrini in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Hyblae FC's Darien Tebar got a free kick in the 18th minute. Corrado Contestabile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Nardo in the 21st minute of play. Corrado Contestabile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Marley in the 22nd minute of the match. Hyblae FC's Corrado Contestabile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Marley in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eigirdas Burnickas in the 24th minute of play forced Dexter Morgan VR46's goalkeeper Comunardo Guerrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raúl Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Guerrini having to interfere. Hyblae FC's Corrado Contestabile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Nardo in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hyblae FC defense, Baldomiro Nardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corrado Contestabile. The Hyblae FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corrado Contestabile should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amedeo Giancola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Corrado Contestabile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Marley, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Corrado Contestabile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Ciolli in the 56th minute of the match. Baldomiro Nardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Contestabile having to interfere. Hyblae FC's Corrado Contestabile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Hyblae FC from getting a goal against them. Corrado Contestabile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Ciolli, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Baldomiro Nardo had several of the Hyblae FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-5 score and a disappointed Corrado Contestabile as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferruccio Festuccia during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dexter Morgan VR46 booed when Hyblae FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Festuccia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Dexter Morgan VR46 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dexter Morgan VR46 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
