Pitt Frøne came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Club Sicilia's Guaberto Cristos. But to his dismay, Guaberto Cristos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Varglien in the 20th minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Alvaro Sanna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Sanna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Varglien in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper Pitt Frøne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Montel. Attilio Del Grosso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, PICCOLE PESTI's Attilio Del Grosso fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Alvaro Sanna was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Varglien in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting Club Sicilia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Donato Dossena was slow to take the kick. During this time PICCOLE PESTI's players had a chance to rest. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Alvaro Sanna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 46 minutes Sporting Club Sicilia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Donato Dossena who took care of the corner kick. Donato Dossena made a great header on PICCOLE PESTI's corner, it was just that Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna managed to reach the ball for a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Concetto De Nardis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Cristos came free, but Pitt Frøne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Concetto Rucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pitt Frøne having to interfere. PICCOLE PESTI's Pitt Frøne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto De Nardis in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Concetto Rucci made a precise shot to the right of Pitt Frøne. PICCOLE PESTI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 69th match minute, PICCOLE PESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Del Grosso to maneuver through the defense. When Cesare Vida fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PICCOLE PESTI's protests and gave Cesare Vida a yellow card for diving instead. Cesare Vida kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Sporting Club Sicilia's Concetto Rucci made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pitt Frøne was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute Concetto De Nardis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pitt Frøne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto De Nardis came free, but Pitt Frøne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Sanna was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Ettore Varglien capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ettore Varglien really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. In the 91st minute of the match PICCOLE PESTI got a corner. Sporting Club Sicilia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Donato Dossena ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Frans Beckenbauer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alvaro Sanna quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pitt Frøne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Concetto De Nardis went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sporting Club Sicilia had played much better football throughout.
