LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hagen Stößlein in the 16th minute of play. Celalettin Uzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özgür Özbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ştefan Frunză during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆ got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Frunză. In the 28th minute, Tayyip Taylan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The excitement rose when ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆'s Yasin Yasin after 41 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for LOI's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-1. George Buturugã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Frunză, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
