After 32 minutes, Xorxe Canosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Machu Picchu and the Equipo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Equipo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehat Kovaçi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ball Hold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 65th minute of play. Ball Hold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 79th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mehat Kovaçi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ball Hold was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Machu Picchu's Ball Hold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 99th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Equipo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Machu Picchu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
