The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Fifth Chicken's Edílson Souza got a free kick in the 2nd minute. KKS Legia Deptaka's Dominik Pachucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edílson Souza in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Fifth Chicken booed when KKS Legia Deptaka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Poling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dominik Pachucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edílson Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szymon Konieczny made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Roman Kosel sent off a good shot on target. If Feliks Wojton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Wojton in the 27th minute of play forced Fifth Chicken's goalkeeper Szymon Konieczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mieszko Borkowski in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominik Pachucki saved KKS Legia Deptaka from getting behind. Dominik Pachucki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Borkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 38th minute Mieszko Borkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Pachucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Fifth Chicken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimierz Sliwinski to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edílson Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. KKS Legia Deptaka's Konrad Poling quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dominik Loncki, made in the 60th minute of the game. If Feliks Wojton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute, Leszek Maziarz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fifth Chicken's zone, Pawel Patora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Szymon Konieczny came out of the goal and Pawel Patora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Fifth Chicken supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fifth Chicken would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
