Lucjan Sidorowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Kon, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Roman Kon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucjan Sidorowicz was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After having played for 17 minutes, Roman Kon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Kon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Danisiewicz in the 33rd minute of play forced Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Fabian Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Karol Turak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucjan Sidorowicz came out and tried to block the shot, but Roman Kon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Roman Kon sped through MKS MŁAWA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucjan Sidorowicz. 57 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Nakonieczny came free, but Fabian Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mugur Pandrea charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mugur Pandrea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute of the match, Zenon Danisiewicz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabian Arendarski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fabian Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Danisiewicz in the 65th minute of play. Fabian Arendarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenon Danisiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Zenon Danisiewicz put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fabian Arendarski. The supporters of MKS MŁAWA booed when Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jânio Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bartlomiej Pilarski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabian Arendarski. That made the score 2-3 in the 75 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Scislowicz in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucjan Sidorowicz saved MKS MŁAWA from getting behind. Karol Turak scored 2-4 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Arendarski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucjan Sidorowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömür Seyfeddin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Fabian Arendarski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 2-5. When Edgar Scislowicz came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Scislowicz couldn't finish the play. When the match was over MKS MŁAWA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zagłębie Dąbrowskie throughout the match.
