After 15th play minutes Patryk Mietus shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Ignacy Zagrobelny and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 20th minute, Edward Zembrzuski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mieszko Czubski struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ignacy Zagrobelny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Cavia Pyskowice. Mariusz Dobrowski's late challenge caught a FC Cavia Pyskowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariusz Dobrowski helped the player get up and apologised. 25 minutes into the match, Free Cavia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignacy Zagrobelny. KS LEW Chorzów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Free Cavia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, FC Cavia Pyskowice's Free Cavia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignacy Zagrobelny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute Free Cavia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Zagrobelny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KS LEW Chorzów were furious when Karol Japola was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Free Cavia to strike the kick off in the second half. Ignacy Ciechocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Beninda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Cavia Pyskowice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Zembrzuski was slow to take the kick. During this time KS LEW Chorzów's players had a chance to rest. Gilbert Degutis made a great header on KS LEW Chorzów's corner, it was just that FC Cavia Pyskowice's Ignacy Ciechocki managed to reach the ball for a save. Ignacy Zagrobelny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Porazík in the 74th minute of the match. Janusz Porazík might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignacy Zagrobelny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Janusz Porazík ran back to his position shaking his head. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KS LEW Chorzów! Ignacy Zagrobelny had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Mieszko Czubski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 87 played minutes Mieszko Czubski rounded KS LEW Chorzów's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Porazík in the 92nd minute of play forced KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Ignacy Zagrobelny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Janusz Porazík came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC Cavia Pyskowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janusz Porazík couldn't finish the play. FC Cavia Pyskowice's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
