When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Hieronim Misiorowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Grzegorz Siekierski to make any attempt to save it. In the 13th minute, Romarinho Riquelme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piotr Gecionis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 16 minutes into the match, Romarinho Riquelme notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Śląsk Bytom's Piotr Gecionis. Piotr Gecionis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 21 minutes, Cezary Majkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Śląsk Bytom and the AKS Kozienice players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Śląsk Bytom's Cezary Majkowski got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Leon Banas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. AKS Kozienice's Leon Banas got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Banas in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Piotr Gecionis saved Śląsk Bytom from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Leon Banas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piotr Gecionis was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Piotr Gecionis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romarinho Riquelme in the 69th minute. AKS Kozienice's Osvaldo Meireles got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Piotr Gecionis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Banas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldo Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Osvaldo Meireles hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Śląsk Bytom's Piotr Gecionis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Śląsk Bytom from getting a goal against them. When the match was over AKS Kozienice could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Śląsk Bytom throughout the match.
