An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Porazík in the 18th minute of play forced Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Piotr Gecionis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Śląsk Bytom's Piotr Gecionis got control of the ball when Patryk Mietus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Piotr Gecionis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patryk Mietus, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Śląsk Bytom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Cavia Pyskowice the free kick. A collision led to Śląsk Bytom getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. After taking down the ball on FC Cavia Pyskowice's corner Jojo Cavia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Piotr Gecionis quite easily take care of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Śląsk Bytom's goal looked a bit too open when Patryk Mietus came free, but Piotr Gecionis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Rafal Maziarz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Piotr Gecionis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Piotr Gecionis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Antoszewski in the 79th minute of the match. Ignacy Ciechocki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Napoleon Wietrzychowski in the 82nd minute. Pawel Wierzchowski charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pawel Wierzchowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pawel Wierzchowski hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Śląsk Bytom's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
