Walter Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Skarkman in the 5th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Petter Skarkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Wallander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Wallander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 13th minute, Petter Skarkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Wallander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Kjell Åkesson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ingemar Åberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Petter Skarkman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Wallander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to JKs Talanger getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Rafael Veiga hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Protegéerna's zone, Kjell Åkesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingemar Åberg came out of the goal and Kjell Åkesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Skarkman came free, but Walter Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Petter Skarkman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Protegéerna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petter Skarkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walter Wallander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petter Skarkman's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Walter Wallander didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Lukas Almstedt's late challenge caught a Protegéerna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lukas Almstedt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Petter Skarkman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Protegéerna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjell Åkesson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petter Skarkman took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Wallander. Walter Wallander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. JKs Talanger made a substitution. Rasmus Eklund replaced Rafael Veiga. Supreme Run kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Protegéerna's attentive Ossi Eloranta managed to snatch the ball when Roque Lauro made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Åkesson came free, but Ingemar Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's Kjell Åkesson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingemar Åberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Walter Wallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Åkesson in the 85th minute of play. The Protegéerna supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Protegéerna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
