Petter Skarkman might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Andersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petter Skarkman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Petter Skarkman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Protegéerna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gong Qi Fan in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingemar Åberg saved Protegéerna from getting behind. In the 68th minute Gong Qi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Andersson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Börna Bulldogs made a substitution. Vilgot Bålström replaced Rob Lute. In the 78thth minute of the game Petter Skarkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Börna Bulldogs's Andreas Andersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Skarkman in the 82nd minute of play forced Börna Bulldogs's goalkeeper Andreas Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingemar Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Svahn in the 83rd minute of play. Christer Nyberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Andreas Andersson 93 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Protegéerna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
