A collision led to Criciúma Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Baraquiel Frances hit a great ball. Héctor Gaviria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Laurentzi in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, Criciúma Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolomeo Simpson to maneuver through the defense. Héctor Gaviria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaztea Regalado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Criciúma Esporte Clube's Gaztea Regalado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Héctor Gaviria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Fix Zubiaur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evelio Antoniano came out and tried to block the shot, but Fix Zubiaur slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 14th minute. Héctor Gaviria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaztea Regalado in the 18th minute of play. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by 魏誉正 with Fix Zubiaur as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harriet Basabe in the 24th minute of play forced Criciúma Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Evelio Antoniano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Héctor Gaviria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaztea Regalado in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Laurentzi in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Héctor Gaviria saved Conjunto Paisa from getting behind. Evelio Antoniano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Angel in the 43rd minute. Conjunto Paisa's Tomás Angel came free and shot a quick shot against goal 43 minutes in the game, fortunately Evelio Antoniano had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 45th minute Tomás Angel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Antoniano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Criciúma Esporte Clube's Baraquiel Frances got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Tomás Angel made the kick off in the second half. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Conjunto Paisa's goalkeeper Héctor Gaviria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cosimo Capasso hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 魏誉正 struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Evelio Antoniano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Conjunto Paisa. Conjunto Paisa's Freddy Roig was substituted for Fix Zubiaur. Criciúma Esporte Clube's Evelio Antoniano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Angel in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaztea Regalado in the 79th minute of play forced Conjunto Paisa's goalkeeper Héctor Gaviria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes, Bartolomeo Simpson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Criciúma Esporte Clube and the Conjunto Paisa players grew even worse after the yellow card.
