Gigio Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Braadbøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by HollywooDogs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tytus Lichucki was slow to take the kick. During this time Liverpool F.C. YNWA's players had a chance to rest. In the 9th minute Grigoris Korpetis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigio Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigio Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Braadbøl in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, HollywooDogs's Celsinho Couto got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Grigoris Korpetis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gigio Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Louis Braadbøl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigio Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoris Korpetis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. HollywooDogs:s Gigio Buffon showed great skill when he stopped Grigoris Korpetis:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Braadbøl in the 31st minute of play forced HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Gigio Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigio Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Braadbøl in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celsinho Couto during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Liverpool F.C. YNWA booed when HollywooDogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the HollywooDogs defense, Louis Braadbøl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gigio Buffon. The HollywooDogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigio Buffon should have stopped the shot. Gigio Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Louis Braadbøl went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Korpetis in the 42nd minute of play forced HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Gigio Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes HollywooDogs got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Ribéry. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by HollywooDogs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tytus Lichucki was slow to take the kick. During this time Liverpool F.C. YNWA's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Cesare Maldini advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-4 in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grigoris Korpetis was the one to do the kick off. HollywooDogs's Gigio Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marinos Sidiropoulos in the 62nd minute of play. HollywooDogs's Gigio Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save HollywooDogs from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marinos Sidiropoulos in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigio Buffon saved HollywooDogs from getting behind. The Liverpool F.C. YNWA fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Marinos Sidiropoulos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gigio Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Sidiropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Marinos Sidiropoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigio Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Marinos Sidiropoulos in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gigio Buffon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Grigoris Korpetis let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 94th minute shot 0-8 at rihgt post. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
