Tomé Reis took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Fagundes. Paulo Fagundes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lima Team's Paulo Fagundes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Reis in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Lima Team getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Angélico Ventura hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match Gláuber Abreu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Fagundes skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Tomé Reis sped through Lima Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulo Fagundes. Lima Team's Paulo Fagundes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo da Rocha in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lima Team's Tomás Gois got a free kick in the 20th minute. Paulo Fagundes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomé Reis's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Paulo Fagundes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remo da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 32 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber Abreu. With an all-out effort, Lima Team's Léo de Brito threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomás Gois, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lima Team were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Floresta Club U18's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Renato Vargas took the corner. Léo de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Gois in the 36th minute of play. Paulo Fagundes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Tomé Reis made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Fagundes. Lima Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 42 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goal looked a bit too open when Remo da Rocha came free, but Paulo Fagundes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Lima Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Floresta Club U18 were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomé Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Honorato Gameiro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Gláuber Abreu made a great header on Floresta Club U18's corner, it was just that Lima Team's Paulo Fagundes managed to reach the ball for a save. Floresta Club U18 were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Lima Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gláuber Abreu took the corner. Floresta Club U18's Gláuber Abreu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo Fagundes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nélson Bentes in the 68th minute of play forced Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Léo de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lima Team's Horácio Sobral got a free kick in the 69th minute. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when Lima Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Carrasqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Endrik Edmundo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo Fagundes came out and tried to block the shot, but Endrik Edmundo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Lima Team's Honorato Amaral got a free kick in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomé Reis got free with Paulo Fagundes in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goalkeeper Paulo Fagundes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomé Reis. Tomé Reis in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulo Fagundes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Floresta Club U18's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
