Silvinho Perez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Recife in the 12th minute of play forced Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Nicolas Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Jorge Recife ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Cardozo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 19th match minute, Grêmio FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu Zonta to maneuver through the defense. Chiquinho Neto scored 2-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvinho Perez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when Grêmio FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Chiquinho Neto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvinho Perez. Silvinho Perez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Chiquinho Neto sped through Grêmio FBPA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvinho Perez. In the 31st minute, Chiquinho Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Zonta came free, but Nicolas Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdir de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Cardozo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Grêmio FBPA defense, Chiquinho Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvinho Perez. The Grêmio FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvinho Perez should have stopped the shot. If Chiquinho Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the game, Grêmio FBPA's Ted Hoogenkamp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. 46 minutes into the game, Valdir de Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio FBPA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rondinone F.C - FDFDF the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Grêmio FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Grêmio FBPA's Silvinho Perez got control of the ball when Gil dos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-2 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chiquinho Neto made a kick off. Chiquinho Neto took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvinho Perez. Silvinho Perez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. Silvinho Perez came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Rafinha Sergipano. But to his dismay, Rafinha Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. Chiquinho Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvinho Perez having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Grêmio FBPA's Afonsinho Neto got a free kick in the 61st minute. Silvinho Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chiquinho Neto's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Chiquinho Neto notched a goal, 8-2, to the right of Grêmio FBPA's Silvinho Perez. Silvinho Perez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grêmio FBPA's Silvinho Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Matos in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Isaltino Tande sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Grêmio FBPA's Silvinho Perez didn't even have to move. If Ted Hoogenkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Rafinha Sergipano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvinho Perez. Grêmio FBPA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafinha Sergipano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-2. The supporters of Grêmio FBPA booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
