Gigio Buffon came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard. But to his dismay, Éthan Pichard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Donatello in the 11th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Tim Wiese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Éthan Pichard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigio Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Lars Schira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Schira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Régis Batista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HollywooDogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Gigio Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éthan Pichard in the 28th minute of play. Samuca Donatello charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuca Donatello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to HollywooDogs getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Samuca Donatello hit a great ball. Sidnei Xavier hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in HollywooDogs's zone, Éthan Pichard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigio Buffon came out of the goal and Éthan Pichard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute Éthan Pichard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigio Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Gigio Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Éthan Pichard. In the 37th minute SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner. Éthan Pichard went to the cornerflag to take it. Éthan Pichard made a great header on SV Bad Harzburg's corner, it was just that HollywooDogs's Gigio Buffon managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éthan Pichard in the 40th minute of play forced HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Gigio Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Régis Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Wiese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Régis Batista made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of HollywooDogs booed when SV Bad Harzburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Welf Heinlein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sidnei Xavier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Wiese having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éthan Pichard in the 55th minute of play forced HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Gigio Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, HollywooDogs's Samuca Donatello got a free kick in the 60th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, Teodor Covaci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodor Covaci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Tim Wiese had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Ribéry. After 63 minutes, Sidnei Xavier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HollywooDogs and the SV Bad Harzburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, HollywooDogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Xavier to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gigio Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Lars Schira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigio Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éthan Pichard in the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Régis Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. HollywooDogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Wiese breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éthan Pichard in the 74th minute of play forced HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Gigio Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's goal looked a bit too open when Éthan Pichard came free, but Gigio Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Éthan Pichard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tim Wiese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Ribéry in the 82nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Éthan Pichard put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gigio Buffon. Éthan Pichard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
