Johannes Strömberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgílio Miranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Strömberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Jean Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Virgílio Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Compostela FSCMZ's Gilmar Paes got a free kick in the 12th minute. Lúcio Dantas made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Hamílton Secco. In the 23rd match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Toledo to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Jean Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Mazarópi Filho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Teixeira in the 28th minute of play. The Compostela FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgílio Miranda should have stopped the shot. Hamílton Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Virgílio Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johannes Strömberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Virgílio Miranda made a huge save.

Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Zé Roberto Galvão replaced Romário Borges. Virgílio Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Fernandez in the 54th minute of the match. Johannes Strömberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Miranda having to interfere. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Pedrinho do Valle was substituted for Tim Ferm. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. made a substitution. Agostinho Meireles replaced Betão Catarinense. Virgílio Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Fernandez came free, but Virgílio Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgílio Miranda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Antonio Venedikov charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Venedikov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Compostela FSCMZ booed when IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Venedikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristiano Severo came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Compostela FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Severo couldn't finish the play. Cristiano Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Fernandez in the 92nd minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Virgílio Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgílio Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. had played much better football throughout.
