In the 13th minute Braulio Iyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nana Lider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Iyan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nana Lider read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. CA Juventud Unida's 袁磊竞 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul in the 18th minute of play. Nana Lider was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, CA Juventud Unida's goalkeeper 袁磊竞 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 徐文枫. The audience thought a goal was coming when 徐文枫 got free with 袁磊竞 in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Club Atletico Los Andes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CA Juventud Unida were winning 0-2.
CA Juventud Unida made a substitution. Ján Hanzel replaced Clodoveo Hanni. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul to strike the kick off in the second half. Nana Lider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesús Banana in the 52nd minute of play. With his leg Nana Lider managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when CA Juventud Unida's Jesús Banana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Siro Betadur's late challenge caught a CA Juventud Unida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Betadur helped the player get up and apologised. Nana Lider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesús Banana in the 61st minute of the match. Nana Lider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesús Banana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When CA Juventud Unida's Saverio Petrigai in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 94th minute Saverio Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nana Lider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The CA Juventud Unida supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CA Juventud Unida would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
