The audience was convinced that Zézinho Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elias Jordy was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Elias Jordy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Gregory in the 23rd minute of play. After 31 minutes Soda f c's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastean Battaglia who took care of the corner kick. In the 33rdth minute of the game Zézinho Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quimeras Jrs.'s Elias Jordy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elias Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Jordy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zézinho Moraes's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Soda f c's attack was well implemented in the 46th minute, but when Zézinho Moraes was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Zézinho Moraes made the kick off in the second half. Soda f c made a substitution. Ümit Daman replaced Zézinho Moraes. Oscar Labrecque made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sebastean Battaglia. Freddy Balendin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Lennartsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th match minute, Soda f c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Beltran to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute of the match Soda f c got a corner. Quimeras Jrs.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cayetano Beltran ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Soda f c's Cayetano Beltran to fire away a dangerous shot which Elias Jordy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Soda f c's Donato Ayala got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute Bo Lennartsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Balendin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Lennartsson in the 87th minute of play forced Soda f c's goalkeeper Freddy Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ümit Daman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Soda f c had won after a very even match.
