The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Soda f c's Freddy Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Noguera in the 7th minute of play. Freddy Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Noguera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes Zézinho Moraes rounded El coca fc's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Freddy Balendin came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by El coca fc's Jardel Van Landschoot. But to his dismay, Jardel Van Landschoot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Zézinho Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florencio Osasun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zézinho Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 minutes into the match, El coca fc's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Moraes came free, but Florencio Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Noguera in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Soda f c's Zézinho Moraes got a free kick in the 20th minute. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Csanád Kiss with Silvano Porfirio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Florencio Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Moraes in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Soda f c's Niceto Gregory got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Soda f c defense, Claudio Noguera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Balendin. The Soda f c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Balendin should have stopped the shot. The supporters of El coca fc booed when Soda f c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Ayala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Moraes in the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Zézinho Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Balendin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Noguera in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Soda f c getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Niceto Gregory hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zézinho Moraes to make the kick off. Zézinho Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Balendin came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Noguera slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 86th minute.
