The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th minute, Matei Daimacă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luisito Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Godefroid, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A nice corner shot did that Felipe Olivar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luisito Quinten quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV booed when Lyons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boleslaw Zielinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Luca made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Boleslaw Zielinski sent off a good shot on target. After 22 minutes SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcos Berasko who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Lyons's Marcos Berasko to fire away a dangerous shot which Ferdinand Luca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Boleslaw Zielinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinand Luca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcos Berasko who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ruperto Salvadore almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Ferdinand Luca did a great save. 32 minutes into the match, Lyons's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Signoretti came free, but Luisito Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Signoretti in the 33rd minute of play. Dave Signoretti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boleslaw Zielinski got free with Ferdinand Luca in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Boleslaw Zielinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyons's supporters rose to their feet, but Boleslaw Zielinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Luca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Boleslaw Zielinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Froilan Donostia to strike the kick off in the second half. Luisito Quinten made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Gilbert Godefroid sent off a good shot on target. Lyons's Ruperto Salvadore quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lázaro Lauren, made in the 59th minute of the game. Dave Signoretti kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Lyons made a substitution. Dariusz Roano replaced Boleslaw Zielinski. Dave Signoretti hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Gilbert Godefroid who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Luisito Quinten when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lyons's Luisito Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Donostia in the 69th minute of play. Luisito Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Signoretti in the 72nd minute of play. When Lyons's Dariusz Roano in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's goalie prevented a goal. 76 minutes into the game, Lázaro Lauren threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lyons's Matei Daimacă quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ferdinand Luca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Roano in the 81st minute of the match. With 83 minutes on the clock, Joshua Arbi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 83 minutes into the game, one of Lyons:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 86th minute, Lázaro Lauren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinand Luca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Roano in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute Lyons were awarded a corner. Marcos Berasko went to the cornerflag to take it. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
