Marin Ciprian took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Efren. Jonas Efren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Baran Gayret left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alianza FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladio Montenegro got free with Nofre Estany in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonas Efren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordara Herbon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marin Ciprian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Efren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Ciprian, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Marin Ciprian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Alianza FC's Cordara Herbon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Efren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marin Ciprian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jonas Efren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Avileños F.C.'s zone, Marin Ciprian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Efren came out of the goal and Marin Ciprian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marin Ciprian was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Marin Ciprian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Loco Guiles kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Prats in the 60th minute of play forced Avileños F.C.'s goalkeeper Jonas Efren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Cordara Herbon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Efren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. If Cordara Herbon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alianza FC were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Avileños F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reno Chavarria took the corner. Nofre Estany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladio Montenegro in the 74th minute of the match. Alianza FC's César Domingues was substituted for Cordara Herbon. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alianza FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mingo Povia was slow to take the kick. During this time Avileños F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Avileños F.C.'s Mingo Povia to fire away a dangerous shot which Nofre Estany despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonas Efren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marin Ciprian went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. When Alianza FC's Marin Ciprian in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Avileños F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Marin Ciprian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jonas Efren made a huge save. After 90 played minutes Alianza FC got a freekick which was hit by Long Jian Le. Stewart Digiuseppe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Avileños F.C.'s Jonas Efren got control of the ball when Marin Ciprian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ladio Montenegro's late challenge caught a Alianza FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladio Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Avileños F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ladio Montenegro. Jonas Efren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
