Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anoush Khalatbari started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Cosmos Soccer Club's Dan Gheară got control of the ball when Anoush Khalatbari tried to sneak it across the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Nobel came free, but Dan Gheară reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anoush Khalatbari who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Dan Gheară when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, American Airlines's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Ţopescu came free, but Arvin Hökkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anoush Khalatbari got free with Dan Gheară in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the game, Anoush Khalatbari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dan Gheară was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Gheară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anoush Khalatbari, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 19 minutes of play, American Airlines's Anoush Khalatbari made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Gheară was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Dan Gheară had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anoush Khalatbari. Darnell Metcalf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Cannata came free, but Dan Gheară reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Gheară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darnell Metcalf, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Dan Gheară didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bennvar Nobel went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Darnell Metcalf notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cosmos Soccer Club's Dan Gheară. Dan Gheară was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. American Airlines's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Darnell Metcalf in the 41st minute. The corner ended in Darnell Metcalf almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cosmos Soccer Club's Dan Gheară did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gabriel Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Dan Gheară tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Gheară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Nobel, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Fabio Cannata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Cannata scored 5-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dan Gheară, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th match minute, Cosmos Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Flynn to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match Darnell Metcalf shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dan Gheară showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Anoush Khalatbari managed to get in a good position for a shot. American Airlines's supporters rose to their feet, but Anoush Khalatbari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Gheară breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the game, Darnell Metcalf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Dan Gheară was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. American Airlines made a substitution. Carlo Trujillo replaced Gabriel Rossi. Cosmos Soccer Club's Dan Gheară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonah Ryan in the 79th minute of play. American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save American Airlines from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when American Airlines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anoush Khalatbari didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Anoush Khalatbari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. American Airlines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anoush Khalatbari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th match minute, American Airlines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Trujillo to maneuver through the defense. Dan Gheară came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by American Airlines's Anoush Khalatbari. But to his dismay, Anoush Khalatbari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 96th minute Anoush Khalatbari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Gheară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
