Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Charlotte FC's Vicente Rafferty started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Charlotte FC defense, Arturo Di Matteo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bryant Miles. The Charlotte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bryant Miles should have stopped the shot. 8 minutes into the game, Arturo Di Matteo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bryant Miles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wander Suzanne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Felix Ivarsson made a huge save. 14 minutes in the game Francesco Keller did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kareem Stoddard. 15 minutes into the match, Calenzano's Arturo Di Matteo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bryant Miles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Charlotte FC's Francesco Keller got a free kick in the 20th minute. Arturo Di Matteo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bryant Miles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Alessio Santini got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A hard shot by Wander Suzanne from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Felix Ivarsson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Felix Ivarsson was a little too slow when Wander Suzanne got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-3. Bryant Miles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Di Matteo went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, Arturo Di Matteo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryant Miles. Charlotte FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Di Matteo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Calenzano's attentive Achille Sciamanna managed to snatch the ball when Francesco Keller made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Arturo Di Matteo made a precise shot to the right of Bryant Miles. Charlotte FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. In the 37th minute Arturo Di Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryant Miles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Kaja Jamak came free, but Felix Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Di Matteo came free, but Bryant Miles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Calenzano getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Enzo Martelli hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Wander Suzanne sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Ivarsson skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Di Matteo was the one to do the kick off. Yaniusky Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Ivarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wander Suzanne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Arturo Di Matteo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calenzano's Quinto Ampudia was substituted for Arturo Di Matteo. Calenzano made a substitution. Alessandro Giocondo replaced Yaniusky Pardo. Calenzano's Felix Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wander Suzanne in the 63rd minute of play. Felix Ivarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaja Jamak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Rafferty scored 2-6 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Ivarsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Charlotte FC's zone, Quinto Ampudia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryant Miles came out of the goal and Quinto Ampudia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quinto Ampudia in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryant Miles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 minutes of play, Calenzano's Quinto Ampudia made it 2-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryant Miles was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Calenzano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
