An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 19th minute of play forced El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Wilbur Hyde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson came free, but Wilbur Hyde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Vilar to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson got free with Wilbur Hyde in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute Racing Miami Futbol Club were awarded a corner. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson went to the cornerflag to take it. A sloppy throw-in by Tom Adams in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Anton Swanson. 63 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Wilbur Hyde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson. Jarrod Leary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. El Canalla de Chicago's Andreas Sanchez was substituted for Matthew Medrano. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Miami Futbol Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Despite this Jarrod Leary quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 80th minute Joaquim Vilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrod Leary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerold Alley hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jarrod Leary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when El Canalla de Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justin Raines didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Racing Miami Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson couldn't finish the play. Sol Bartlett kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
