After a rather tough play, River Plate ® 9-12's Samuel Markel got a free kick in the 17th minute. River Plate ® 9-12 were furious when Carlos Erramu was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 18th minute, one of River Plate ® 9-12:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for River Plate ® 9-12. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Valette Stars. Eddy Raoult stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Romulo Elazar. 0-1. Florencio Lehen kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Romulo Elazar came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Valette Stars's Faudel Léopold. But to his dismay, Faudel Léopold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Hugues Drevet was a little too slow when Jonas Ortzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-2. Romulo Elazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Picavet, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Hugues Drevet made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Humberto Etxahun sent off a good shot on target. Romulo Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raoul Caudal in the 45th minute of play. The River Plate ® 9-12 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Valette Stars were winning 1-2.

River Plate ® 9-12's Romulo Elazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save River Plate ® 9-12 from getting a goal against them. German Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to River Plate ® 9-12 getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. German Santana hit a great ball. Hugues Drevet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Santana in the 83rd minute of play. Romulo Elazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Raoult in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Eddy Raoult left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valette Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Valette Stars's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
