Santa Maradona's Carlos Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Ortzi in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute German Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. River Plate ® 9-12's Romulo Elazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save River Plate ® 9-12 from getting a goal against them. 0-2 became the score in the 17th minute when Lucas Sabin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Jonas Ortzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, one of Santa Maradona:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carlos Martinez had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Generoso Ugaitz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The Santa Maradona players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. River Plate ® 9-12 were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benigno Vermudo to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Eliseo Guter notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of River Plate ® 9-12's Romulo Elazar. Romulo Elazar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Remigio Abancens hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match Generoso Ugaitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Martinez skillfully saved the ball. Lucas Sabin in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Martinez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 59th minute Jonas Ortzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes River Plate ® 9-12 got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Sabin. River Plate ® 9-12 made a substitution. Andres Argenis replaced Humberto Etxahun. A collision led to River Plate ® 9-12 getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lucas Sabin hit a great ball. Jonas Ortzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Martinez having to interfere. Lucas Sabin succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-5. In the 81st minute of the match, Lucas Sabin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Martinez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lucas Sabin came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Martinez could save by the left post. Santa Maradona's Carlos Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Ortzi in the 85th minute of play. Octavio Lorenz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Lucas Sabin might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Martinez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Sabin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute, one of Santa Maradona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Santa Maradona. When the match had been going on for 90 minutes, River Plate ® 9-12's Generoso Ugaitz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Carlos Martinez. Lucas Sabin struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Carlos Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Plate ® 9-12. In the 95th minute, Jonas Ortzi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Martinez. The goal made the score 2-7. Jonas Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Carlos Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
