The supporters of ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC booed when Lima Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Portugal came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kevin Curado could save by the left post. Alexandre Bessa lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lima Team! Kevin Curado had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Sérgio Carmona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's goalkeeper Zarco Machado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23rd play minutes Sérgio Carmona shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Kevin Curado and just under the crossbar into goal. Kevin Curado made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Jerónimo Fontoura sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's Sérgio Carmona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Zarco Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olívio Fontes went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Matias Valério had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Valério scored 3-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zarco Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zarco Machado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Valério's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Valério to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Carmona in the 55th minute of play forced Lima Team's goalkeeper Kevin Curado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC booed when Lima Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Caneira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's Sérgio Carmona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kevin Curado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 66th minute André Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Curado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes Lima Team got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Passos. In the 68th minute, Sérgio Carmona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Curado was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. When Delfim Passos fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lima Team's protests and gave Delfim Passos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC booed when Lima Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Portugal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Kevin Curado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Sérgio Carmona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Curado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Sérgio Carmona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Curado was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. After a rather tough play, ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's Donato Palmeira got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 90th match minute, ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Portugal to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Matias Valério managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lima Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Valério was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zarco Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lima Team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
