The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Igrejass short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Jarbas Teves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 13 minutes, Saúl Caneira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Atabueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saúl Caneira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes of play, FC Fura Balizas's Carlos Igrejas made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarbas Teves was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Fura Balizas's Carlos Igrejas got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarbas Teves made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Carlos Igrejas sent off a good shot on target. SC Atabueira's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Carlos Igrejas scored to the left of an out of position Jarbas Teves, making the score, 5-0. In the 29th minute Carlos Igrejas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Teves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Atabueira's Alexandre Guerreiro got a free kick in the 29th minute. SC Atabueira's Jarbas Teves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Igrejas in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goal looked a bit too open when Saúl Caneira came free, but Maoz Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Igrejas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarbas Teves having to make a save. With a little luck, SC Atabueira's Jarbas Teves got control of the ball when Carlos Igrejas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Fura Balizas's Carlos Igrejas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jarbas Teves. That made the score 7-0 after 44 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Carlos Igrejas made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's Carlos Igrejas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarbas Teves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 53rd match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aprígio Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Carlos Igrejas put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jarbas Teves. Jarbas Teves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Igrejas, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Jarbas Teves came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Fura Balizas's Carlos Igrejas. But to his dismay, Carlos Igrejas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 65th minute Carlos Igrejas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Teves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Fura Balizas made a substitution. Márcio Vilarinho replaced Alexandre Pires. FC Fura Balizas's Aprígio Valadares was substituted for Antero Queirós. The throw-in from Alexandre Moura in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Fura Balizas's Gaspar Infante. In the 70th minute, Carlos Igrejas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarbas Teves was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Jarbas Teves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Igrejas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, SC Atabueira's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Igrejas came free, but Jarbas Teves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Igrejas in the 80th minute of play forced SC Atabueira's goalkeeper Jarbas Teves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Azevedo during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Atabueira getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Alexandre Azevedo hit a great ball. Alexandre Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 87th minute Tiago Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Teves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Tiago Fraga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Jarbas Teves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiago Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC Fura Balizas fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when FC Fura Balizas's Tiago Fraga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Atabueira players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Fura Balizas.
