In the 15thth minute of the game Matias Valério who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Atabueira's Jarbas Teves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Lima Team's Delfim Passos got a free kick in the 16th minute. Américo Caneira hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Hamilton Vasques was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jacob Seabra. In the 22nd minute of the match, Saúl Caneira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hamilton Vasques saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 25th minute, Saúl Caneira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hamilton Vasques. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Lima Team booed when SC Atabueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, SC Atabueira's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Avelar came free, but Jarbas Teves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, SC Atabueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Moura to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Valério made a kick off. Lima Team's Hamilton Vasques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saúl Caneira in the 58th minute of play. Alexandre Moura's late challenge caught a Lima Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Moura helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, one of SC Atabueira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Atabueira. The goalkeeper, Jarbas Teves, was totally fooled by Lima Team's Henrique Cruz, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hamilton Vasques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saúl Caneira in the 74th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olívio Fontes got free with Jarbas Teves in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in SC Atabueira's zone, Matias Valério stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Teves came out of the goal and Matias Valério tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Matias Valério managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lima Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Valério was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamilton Vasques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lima Team's Salvador Trigueiro got a free kick in the 85th minute. Hamilton Vasques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saúl Caneira in the 89th minute of play. Alexandre Guerreiro hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
