Pablo Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfried Teunens in the 17th minute of play. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's attentive Leon Maldonado managed to snatch the ball when Arnaldo Pirmin made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Asesinos Por Naturaleza's goalkeeper Pablo Lohitzun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvestre Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfried Teunens in the 32nd minute of play forced Asesinos Por Naturaleza's goalkeeper Pablo Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Godfried Teunens came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the La Bichineta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfried Teunens couldn't finish the play.
